My name is Teresa Q.B. Vasconcellos e Sá, I was born in Lisbon on the 16th December 1961.

In my childhood I lived in Mozambique, Angola and later on in London, England, where I studied Arts and Textile Design.

When I returned to Portugal, I decided to set up my own business as a Textile Designer, creating and commercializing my own Printed Fabrics and Rugs, especially for Childrens’ Interior Decoration purposes. These fabrics were sold throughout the country for several years. I also designed fabrics for Interior Decoration for the Hotel Industry.

Tired of the commercial side of business, in 2002 , I decided to “turn the page” and go back to my Creative Nature.

I started working as a Fine Artist, using techniques such as “Pastel on Paper” and “Acrylic on Canvas”.

Since then, I have displayed my artwork at several Solo exhibitons as well as with other artists, in Lisbon, Oporto, Evora and the Algarve.

From 2010 until now, I have also been teaching Visual Arts, namely in Schools, Arts & Crafts places and also at my own private studio, which I find very interesting and deeply enjoy.
